Contouring seems to be a mystery to many. It’s easy to do… especially when you are using the correct brushes and tools.
If you read the introduction to makeup in this section, I said “it isn’t a problem to mix your make-up brands, but I don’t…because I don’t have to.
Mary Kay has so many options in their product line for contouring, it could make one’s head spin. To use the entire beauty industry, I think it could make my head explode.
I did two videos to show simple contouring: one, with crème to powder foundation, and one with pressed powder options. I used the powder product which MK uses for contouring. I used the powder blush and an eye shadow for highlighting.
There are more options…You can use MK’s concealers from ivory to bronze, you can use their liquid foundations from ivory to bronze, or you could use their pressed powder, again…from ivory to bronze.
The crème to powder foundations, the pressed powders, and the variety of pressed blushes, eye shadow and contour colors can all be put into a refillable and customizable compact. I love that convenience.
It’s all about preferences.
If I didn’t think about makeup as much as I do, I’d be overwhelmed by now. Don’t worry. I’ll pick one method for you. All of my makeup consultations are free, we can work remotely or in person. Click on any page in this blog to reserve a time for yourself.
