Does Makeup Make a Difference?

Does makeup make a difference?  Look at the photo and you will say a resounding yes!

For years, this has been my makeup go-to thought…younger women wear makeup to look more sophisticated and older women wear makeup to look younger. 

At almost 69, I am in the older category, and I am decidedly younger looking in the second photo.

Here are my non-negotiables. I ALWAYS do my skincare routine. I don’t leave home without foundation, eyebrow pencil, concealer, and lip color.

 What must you have before you leave the house? A client once answered my question with, “my bra!”

I share that story with you because, one…it’s funny, and two…nanpatrickknows is not a platform to shame. This is the place you get to explore ideas and the possibility of expanding your visual options.

I had a client who wanted a bronzer. Mary Kay often has one on their limited-edition line.  For whatever reason, they have not had one for seasons.  Personally, I think that’s a failure.  I often get requests for bronzers.

This is a perfect example of making lemonade from lemons.  I created my own bronzer, and…I also customized a bronzer for cool or warm coloring. 

Not only do you get a bronzer, but you also get a contour color, a blush color, and even better?  You can use these two colors for eye shadow.
