Younger Looking Hands

I am happy to share this story with you. Sometimes, good things happen when something else isn’t working out.

Mary Kay has a pure retinol set called Clinical Solutions. It is a dermacosmetic skin care set which is designed to turn the clock back on wrinkles, skin firmness, and skin tone. You can see my screen shot of a before and after. This was magic for my face, but not my throat.

Mary Kay does give clear instructions to test a small spot on the throat. Apparently, I am not the only one with sensitive skin on my throat.  I tried it three times, and each time, I developed a rash. Darn!

When MK came out with their PHA+AHA Resurfacer, I was once again enthused by the potential of better skin for my throat. Nope. It took longer for a rash to appear, but sadly, it did appear.

Being the frugal person I am, I did not want to waste half the bottle of a product that was supposed to improve my skin’s smoothness. So…I tried it on the back of my hands.  Boom! Success! I love that I could repurpose this little treasure. 

I wish I had taken a before and after of my hands.  Seventy-one years of these hands! Lots of use and yes, abuse.  I am delighted to report to you…I am seeing improvement.  It’s delightful to look at my hands which look much improved.

As far as my neck goes? Lots and lots of moisturizer and fortunately, I can use my serum C+E as well.
